How often do you hear a tune on the radio, rush out and buy the CD or download it only to find the track that you purchase contains explicit lyrics? The track played on the radio is a radio edit with the explicit lyrics removed. There is a campaign to have the clean version available to everyone. Music can be very influential on the younger generation and most parents would prefer that their children were not exposed to the language that is contained in some of the tunes available commercially. If they can produce a clean version for the radio, why can't record companies adopt a responsible attitude and make the same track available to everyone? Two things you can do to help the cause are boycot buying albums or singles that have explicit content and also sign the petition at ReadioEdit.org .
